We meet with you to discuss:
- Why you would like an assessment
- The reasons for an assessment (e.g. support at school or work)
- Possible outcomes of the assessment
- The assessment options (ASD/ADHD/others)
- The assessment process
We will also like to get to know you (or your child) so we can tailor our assessments to your individual interests, communications styles and needs, and ensure we can provide a comfortable assessment environment for you.
We assess using standardised, evidence-based assessment tools, such as ADOS or QBcheck.
We will provide as many tests needed to ensure we can a develop a thorough understanding of your differences. So if you present with Autism and ADHD traits we will assess for both (at no additional cost).
For more information:
We are a neuro-affirming assessment service. Therefore, we provide a strength-based understanding of neurodiversity and divergence.
We will provide you with feedback about the assessment, our understanding of your (or your child's) differences and needs. We work closely with other professional services to ensure we can put in the most appropriate support package for you (or your child).
