We provide full neurodevelopmental assessments for children. We carry out this by utilising the skills and expertise of our multi-disciplinary team. We following specific national guidelines of practice (NICE) and use standardised, gold standard assessment measures.
Will provide as many individual tests needed to ensure we have a thorough understanding of your child's needs. This includes ADOS, QBcheck, speech and language assessment, psychiatric assessment, mental health assessment, cognitive and learning assessment.
We provide families with information regarding a child's differences and strengths. We are see neurodiversity and divergence as a difference that should be celebrated and we promote a positive language and a strength based approach to providing support.
After the assessment we spend time working with our families, and relevant professionals (such as schools) to ensure we put in the best support package for the child. We are happy to speak with and support school staff in helping them deliver neurodiversity affirming and strength based interventions. We provide a collaborative plan that is tailored to a child's specific support needs. This is for all children, with a diagnosis or not.
We are unique because we get to know families well and offer a continuity of care. We provide ongoing support for assessed children and parents/carers can contact us whenever needed and we can continue to provide appropriate support.
Contact us to discuss what your concerns are and how we may be able to help.
